ABOUT MY ABSTRACTIONISM
ART & CALM
My work around abstractionism elaborates from several elements that I assemble and then destroy.
My goal is to give the viewer another perspective, from a simple drawing changed into something different.
I do not calculate anything, or try to control it.
I just want to reproduce the vision I have in my mind onto my paper and redirect my focus in a targeted way, towards one or more elements of my current environment.
I focus on the assembly of forms in a rather broad way and the harmonization of colors in a kind of organized disorder close to chaos.
I create a series of reflections about marks, emotions and selected designs.
By creating my abstractionism drawings, my need is to find harmony within my graphic style.
Through this specific artwork I transform my mixed media with a spontaneous gesture, a way for me to register myself physically in the mental landscape I am surrounded with.
